Why we built this

It started over breakfast.

A few of us were talking about golf trips, future plans, and how as life gets busier, with families, responsibilities, and all of it. We needed something to keep our friend group connected. Golf was always that thing for us.

We looked at every app out there. GHIN is a handicap database. The shot trackers are built for obsessives. None of them have a social layer. None of them celebrate your best round. None of them show you your friend's score while they're still on the course.

So we built GolfIQ. For the golfers who play for the friendship, the fresh air, and the endless chase to get a little better.

Yes. Round tracking, handicap index, friend feed, course history, and personal records are all free forever. We'll never take those away. Pro adds hole-by-hole logging, groups, and advanced analytics for $9.99/month.
GolfIQ calculates your handicap index based on your logged rounds using the standard World Handicap System (WHS) formula. You need at least 3 rounds to establish an initial index. The more rounds you log, the more accurate your index becomes.
Groups are private communities for your regular crew. Create a group with your foursome, set up a season-long leaderboard, run monthly challenges, and track everyone's progress together. Groups are a Pro feature at $9.99/month.
Yes. GolfIQ is designed mobile-first. You can access it through your mobile browser today, and native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap. The experience is built to work perfectly on your phone, on the course.
